BTGJ-II Tube-packed black silicone rubber
Purpose
Black silicone rubber is used to lift fingerprints developed with light-colored powders on rough surface.

Method of use
Extrude the silicone rubber and hardener in a 1:1 ratio and mix them on the mixing board with the mixing stick. Apply the mixture on the tool marks or powdered fingerprints on rough surface. After hardening is complete (about 10 minutes), lift the cast of the marks or prints.
Special effect of fingerprint lifting
The ridge lines developed with powders on irregular surface such as discs or leather will be disconnected if they are lifted by tape. On irregular surface, there are many depressions that the tape cannot touch. Silicone rubber is a kind of viscous substance. When it is applied to the surface of an object, it will flow into the depression and stick powders on both the depression and the ridge lines. After the silicone rubber solidifies into elastic solid, lift it off the surface of the object, then the continuous fingerprint lines can be seen
